Our earlier visit to Bangalore was during Aug - Sep 2013. That time we returned on 5th Sept. Now, we started on 9-12-2013 (Monday) by the 7-25 AM Double Decker train.
On 9th, we got up by 4 AM and after bath etc, left house by 5-45 AM and boarded a bus for Central Station. The train was on PF #7 and we boarded it. Vijaya had prepared idli and we ate this at 8:30.We reached Bangalore CANTT by 1 PM and we took a pre-paid auto (Rs 154) for BTM. We ate steaming hot lunch there and slept off. Arun was to have Ear-Surgery, so we came to help / support him.
On 10th and 11th, we were in Ashok's house (BTM) went to Parks for walking etc. At Chennai, Arvind had a minor problem with his eye.
12-12-2013 Thursday, we went to Arun's place at Munne kolala; Ashok dropped us on his way to office. He is to go to the VYDEHI Hosp at Whitefield tomorrow, the 13th. But, the hosp advised him to come on Sunday only.
13th, 14th Dec, we were in Munne kolala. Ashok went back to BTM on 14th morning and after breakfast, Arun and Gayathri went to the hospital to collect the papers. Arun has been allotted a single room in Private Ward. They returned by 3 PM. They have to go tomorrow and occupy the room.
Sunday 15th Dec, Ashok and Neeraja came here and Ashok took Arun to the hospital by 11 AM. Later Ashok returned by 2 PM and he took all of us (incl Gayathri, and children) to the hospital. Vydehi hospital is a very huge hospital. After an hour or so, we returned home with Ashok and they left for BTM. Now, we are "ALONE".
Monday, 16th Dec : Arun's Ear Surgery (Right Ear) was done by 3 PM and he was taken to the Recovery room and kept there for 3 hours to come to consciousness. Later he was brought to the room. Gayathri is in the room with Arun.
16th Dec to 20th Dec, we were in Arun's house taking care of Sowmya and Sriram. Vijaya used to take the children to the school and back. GBS and mami came to Meena's house on 17th and all of us went to the hospital in a call taxi on 18th. Arun is improving.
20th Dec, Friday, Arun was discharged by 3 PM and he and Gayathri returned home by 4. He is fine and improving. I phoned everyone and informed.
21st Dec, we were in Munne kolala, visited the temple. Next day, Sunday the 22nd Dec, Ashok and Neeraja came there in the afternoon and we four left Arun's place and reached BTM.
23 Dec we went to the Meenakshi Mall and purchased dresses for children. Evening we went to a temple at BTM. 24th Dec, Tuesday, we went to a Saibaba temple at JP Nagar and also to STAPLES shop. Packed our things.
25-12-2013, Wednesday, we left BTM house at 1PM after lunch for City station. Ashok and Neeraja took us in car. The Double Decker train left at 2:40 for Chennai. We reached Chennai at 9PM and after waiting for a bus for 30 minutes, took a call taxi and reached home at 10 PM.
Thus our stay at Bangalore ended after 17 days. Arun is improving and he would start going to office from tomorrow (26th Dec).
