GANESAN, brother of Vijaya, completed 80 years on 1 June 2017 and he wished to visit Kanchipuram on this occasion to seek the blessings of Sri Kamakshi Amman there.
He, along with his daughter Shobha and her family, and son Ravi with his family 9 came to Chennai on 29th May and stayed at Saligramam. On 30th they visited Sri Kapaleeswarar Koil Mylapore. On 31st they took rest.

On 1st June Thursday, all 9 of them, Kumar Lalita, Vijaya, Arun, Gayathri, Sowmya, Sriram (in Arun's car) left Chennai by 7AM and went to Kanchipuram. There after worshipping at Kamakshi Amman koil, they went to Sri Ekambareswarar koil and to their old school (Pachaippa's school, where their father Sri GN Yegnaswamy Iyer worked). After lunch in a hotel, they returned to Chennai.
On Friday, the 2nd June, all the 9 from Mumbai, Indira, Lalita, and Kumar came to our house. Ganesan, Lalita, Indira came by 11 AM and had their lunch here. The rest came at 4-30 PM. We had a gala time. Arun, Gayathri, Sowm, Sri also joined us. They left by 7 PM for Arun's house and then to Lakshmi's house.
They returned to Mumbai on 3rd June Saturday.
