In the State of Karnataka, the two rivers Kaveri and Arkavati join at a place, 100 km from Bangalore. It is a scenic place.
All (12) of us, including ARJUN, started for this place by 11 AM on Sunday 1st Sep 2013. Earlier, Arvind, Krithika, Aditi, and Arjun arrived in Ashok's place on the previous day from Chennai. Arun, Gayathri, Sowmya, and Sriram came to BTM Layout from their house by 10:30 AM.
We all left in two cars, taking lunch bags with us. We travelled for 2 hours and reached the Sangamam. We had to cross the River Kaveri in a Parisal (a type of boat). On the other bank we ate our lunch.
Then all the four children bathed in the Sangamam. Arjun, in particular, enjoyed the river. We returned from there by 5:30 PM and reached our houses after two hours.
A nice, enjoyable trip.
